Les Lilas Cottage

Large 90 m² Provencal stone house. Can be rented with the adjoining Maison du Tilleul for large groups or separately.

Ground floor: large kitchen and dining room opening onto a shaded terrace with a large tiled table. Not currently available: WC and shower and a ground-floor bedroom.

Upstairs: two bedrooms with 2 single beds, one bedroom with 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4).

Linen provided: linen for each bed (pillowcases, fitted sheet, duvet cover or sheet), bath mat, two or three tea towels.

House bordered by large meadows interspersed with natural lawns. Exceptional panoramic view of the Alps in the background and the village of Lurs clinging to the relief of Provence. Situated on a small plateau with panoramic views of the Alps to the east. Large meadows interspersed with natural aromatic lawns. Beautiful landscaping around the houses: old trees, flowerbeds with Provencal scents: lavender, rosemary, sage.

Malgré quelques petits soucis techniques, nous avons passé un excellent week-end aux Magnans.

Tout le groupe a été ravi, les maisons sont agréablement aménagées et l’équipe très sympathique

Je recommande ce lieu qui a correspondu à nos attentes et nous reviendrons volontiers

Mon premier séjour aux Magnans date de 2009. J’y reviens régulièrement depuis, en famille ou avec des amis, car le lieu se prête merveilleusement à de telles rencontres. Les hébergements sont diversifiés et permettent les réunions aussi bien en petit qu’en grand groupe, dans le cadre d’un environnement naturel ouvert et accessible qui s’inscrit dans le très beau pays de Forcalquier où il y a tellement à découvrir. L’accueil est respectueux et disponible.

J’espère pouvoir y revenir encore!

Ce hameau a permis à notre groupe de 8 de nous retrouver dans un beau cadre. Petits déjeuners sous le magnifique tilleul et apéros sur la terrasse très appréciés. Belles balades dans le coin et accueil très sympa.

Cadre magnifique. Nous avons tous passé un agréable week-end en ces lieux. La beauté, le calme et la gestion décontractée en font un lieu unique. Nous reviendrons c’est certain!

Information:

  •  Ideally located 5 km from Forcalquier and 25 km from Manosque with all the shops, you can discover Provence and recharge your batteries, walk on the many paths or GR marked out from the property. Sheltered from light pollution at night, you can admire the starry sky of Haute-Provence.
  • All the houses are heated by gas or electricity with the possibility of making a wood fire in a fireplace or a stove. Heating is included in the rental price from October 1st to May 15th.
  • Crockery and household linen (towels, bath towels, tea towels) are provided (except for bathroom towels). Bedding and towels are optional (3 € per person).
  • The routine maintenance of the flats and guest rooms is left to the occupants. The accommodation must be returned clean and in good condition. Cleaning service from 45 to 140 € depending on the size of the houses. Free cleaning is possible (we ask for a cheque for cleaning at the beginning of the stay, which will be returned if the accommodation is spotless at the time of departure).
  • A washing machine is available.
  • The holiday hamlet is surrounded by a large shady park with a swing, sandpit and paddling pool for the children.
  • Vehicles are parked in the car park at the entrance to the property, away from the road.
  • Individual transport is essential (shops 4 km away). Bicycle hire in Forcalquier or car hire in Manosque.
  • Pets are allowed.
  • At the reception, you can consult documentation on the region and its possibilities of hikes, visits of sites, etc., and buy local products at the shop.
  • We speak French, German, English, Spanish and Italian.
  • ATTENTION: Unfortunately, due to the neighbourhood, it is impossible to organise noisy evenings after 9.30 pm in the whole hamlet. We apologize in advance.
